Bury Hill Topsoil & Logs is part of the famous Bury Hill Fisheries Group, which has been supplying its quality blended loam to the landscape and horticultural trade for over 15 years. Renowned for our ‘Bury Hill Black’ a premium grade, dark rich, high quality blended topsoil, we are now expanding our operation to include retail sales, offering free local delivery on a selected range of competitively priced landscape products as well as seasoned hardwood logs, which we also process on the estate and which are offered for sale with kindling and coal.

A bi-product of the de-silting work that took place on our 200 hundred year old lake some 15 years ago, we have over 50,000 cubic meters of organic material stock-piled on site, which is the secret ingredient for mixing with local sands and soil conditioner to produce ‘Bury Hill Black’, a product exclusive to us.

With a wealth of experience in meeting the high demands of the trade over many years, we are all too aware of the general poor quality of topsoil’s being sold in the market today, which more often than not includes a mix of imported soils and recycled skip waste otherwise known as ‘muck away’. With a huge stock pile of our own organic material on site, we have no need to import or use recycled soils in the blending of ‘Bury Hill Black’, thereby guaranteeing our customers a reliably consistent high quality product year after year.
